Exterior Paint Detailing ?

For my Spring detaailing of well kept 2017 Sonata - I am planning to first wash then clay the paint with the same Meg's yellow Ultimate soap . Then dry and then go straight to Turtle wax Ice Seal N Shine Ceramic Spray Sealer (which also contains Carnauba wax) .
*Any comments for or against ? ... I also have Meg's Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax as well but I don't believe it's really going to be that much of a difference to go through all the multiple steps versus what I am suggesting above ?

95% of shine that comes from a detail comes from the polishing/compounding step. That other 5% or less comes from the wax/sealant. If you want it looking its best, polish it. Otherwise it wont really make much of a difference.

I detailed cars for a few years in Virginia. Lasthope is right. Clear coat is the shine.
