Hi,

For all the Hyundai owners out their, particularly Elantras.....
Does the 2017 Elantra, with the 2.0 engine have a PVC valve, and how often should it be replaced? I currently have 37,500 miles. I am asking because I cant seem to find this information in the manual or on line.

Thanks

I have 2016 Elantra with a similar 2.0 engine. I changed the PCV valve at 90,000 miles and the old one looked good. Not sure it needed to be changed. I might wait if I were you.

$3.93 for a Beck Arnley PCV valve at www.rockauto.com. I'd probably change it at 90K miles.

I replace mine every 30K miles, prolly way too often but at $4 for original Hyundai/Kia PCV in Beck/Arnley box from RA it's a cheap insurance and peace of mind.
They are very easy to replace too.
