New Porter Cable 7336 Obital worth $40?

Someone has a new Porter Cable 7336 random orbital sitting on the shelf for years since bought wants $40. Buy? Pass? Fair price? Cheap?

I have a two 2 handed orbital buffers, a $50 Craftsman, and a Ryobi orbital buffer.

I'm wondering if I should upgrade.

I use a Porter Cable 7336 random orbital sander with custom pads for polishing my car. I don't know about the price but I really like the product.

Buy. If you don't use it for paint work, it is also a great sander.

I have one and have used it for years... Paid a lot more for it than that, but then it was new. As a tool hoarder, I'd buy it.... If you are getting into detailing, still get it, but there are good machines out there too for the home use.

Well worth it. I bought mine in 2004 and it's still doing the job it is supposed to. As mentioned it is a great sander also.

Its a high RPM short throw polisher. Awsome for 5" and 3" pads. Terrible for 6" pad.
