Walmart has 3¢ Frams. Local store only I assume. Crazy. It must cost more to pay someone to mark them and pay the cashier, etc. than it would to simply throw them away. I don't know what they were thinking. Sadly, they are old as the hills, a bit rusty and dirty. I'm a bit crestfallen because they fit something I actually own, an old Nissan but they are too far gone.

Since they say "PRO" I'm guessing they're from the autocare center and they finally got around to cleaning out the stockroom with the auto care centers being closed right now.

I’d buy the big one and cut it open out of curiosity.

At a local Walmart I already saw two bottles of oil with paper labels that were obviously dirty from having dirty engine oil on them. I pointed it out to the store manager and told him that someone had obviously returned used motor oil to the store and it had been restocked. He thanked my and removed them from the shelf.

Those filters look dirty enough that it is possible that someone has returned used filters and the person working in the return department was not knowledgeable enough about what an oil filter is and how it is used, and did not check to see if the filter element was dirty. They very well may be used. If the return person in one store was uneducated enough to accept used quarts of oil with dirty oil saturated paper labels, then it is possible that another person working in another Walmart is uneducated enough to accept used dirty oil filters in return and have them end up restocked.

Boy will I be happy when ALL vehicles on public roads are autonomous.

As a non-gun owner, but someone who respects the rights of the law-abiding, mentally stable US citizen, this may be the most true and hilarious post I've ever seen on BITOG.

I wouldn't use them even though they're probably ok. Good cut and post filters?

I would have bought all the good looking ones and sold them on Ebay or something like that.
