ebay, the seller sold me 2,one looks like the one on the web the other like the pic above.the thing is i cant find that type of label anywhere on the web which is fishy.

In general, it looks like a service part label to me.'

And the bottle looks the same as the US part. though label is different.

Let me poke around what Mazda fluid look like stateside.

Its just Hypoid.

Where is it going in the back diff? No need for pricey stuff there.

He's in Irsreal and its Gear lube.

What's API have to do with Europe?

Half of everything worldwide on Ebay is suspicious, that is just my opinion/life experience/observation. Hopefully someone that has good experience with Mazda's can chime in. Any codes or anything else stamped on the bottle?

my bad on the starburst. facepalm

Not me … shopped ebay for years … just got some UHMW angle and just as pictured by the seller. Packed well by hand.
Sometimes I buy a used tool like a cable crimper that will not be used often … or a long handle six point for drain plugs and other custom uses. Many PC parts and testers … Car audio components and sound dampener material etc
Bought 6/12 packs of filters … AC Delco trans fluid/filters etc …

One thing I do is keep the emails and go back to the same good seller …

it is going for the diff and transfer of my 16.5 awd cx5.

The Belgium/EU packaging has Idemitsu logo , but not this .
Btw, does your mechanic has a hunch that the FF drained oil is like a thick monograde SAE 90 or thin like a 75W/80,85 ?

This. MUCH of anything that can be faked will be sold on ebay as genuine..

Heck amazon isn't a whole lot better, many of the third party sellers pull the exact same thing selling fakery and forgeries.

thank you.

Why don't you call Mazda and ask them if the production code on that bottle is one they use.
