I wanted to double check if Mystik #2 high temp is acceptable to use in ball joints. Thanks!

Yes, but use the JT6 that has the 3% moly in it for ball joints, tie rods, pitman, centerlink, etc. Use the JT6 w/o moly for roller bearings, u-joints, etc.

I should have said, either can be used...
but moly is preferred for slow speed pounding joints and...
no moly is preferred when bearings need to roll.

According to the PI sheet the moly is for mining, construction and severe industrial applications. Another case of Bitogger overkill?

I take it you already have a tube of it.? Yes, it is rated GC for wheel bearing and LB for chassis lubrication and is perfectly suitable.

Yes I have a tube of it in my gun. It's the non moly. Sounds like it'll do just fine in my new ball joints. Thanks for confirming

I use the standard JT6 for everything: Up here in Canada it's readily available at Canadian Tire, but I've never seen the moly version anywhere.
