2016 Fusion oem blades are 27" driver, 26" passenger. All the aftermarket ones I've found call for 28" for both, does it make any difference? I don't want the blade extending past the windshield.
I've got a 2015 and am currently running Rain-X Latitudes that I believe are 26" long (packaging was long since discarded). No issues with them going past the windshield.
28" is too long. I am speaking from experience. I think it's Bosch, among others, that spec that length for one of the blades and it's wrong.
Even the Ford/Motorcraft blades that suggest one is 26" and one is 27" based on the part #, both blades are ~26" long. The blade they imply is 27" has a deflector which goes on the driver's side.
I just use the OEM ones since the wiper blade wall at work is a few feet away from me and I do all the ordering so they are in stock. Same with the Mustang blades, the OEM ones fit better.
