Left in the Purolator BOSS filter since its good for up to 15K miles
Car runs MUCH smoother and lower rpms's at highway speed
was at 2500 @ 80MPH, now around 2300 RPM @ 80 MPH

Hugh? RPM's are determined by axle gearing ratio. Not oil change.

This one has a 3:27. Dont ask me ?? Doesn't make sense to me either ?? Last few months i was at 2500RPM @ 80 MPH. Now around 2300 after oil change ??

Car has a pod filter (it's a cheap eBay unit that I got in order to replace a broken air box) that I noticed today is broken at the point it connects to the intake. I've sent an oil sample to Blackstone just to see how the engine is doing after 10 years and now I'm wondering how bad the report is going to look like haha.

Oil was put in around 9,000 miles. Still very much a ‘honey' consistency when pulled.
In: 5W-30 Mobil 1 Full Synth& Motorcraft Filter.
Changed yesterday at 11,400 Miles.
Wanted to try Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, couldn't find locally. Also very interested in Amsoil... Good Day!
