I love F1, and top fuel, but I enjoy seeing an oldie still turn a wheel in anger:

Or a 1911 Fiat S76 - 28.5 Liter 4 Cyl.

I've always admired Jim Hand's 11-second Pontiac wagon. Two tons and running through mufflers.
Sorry about the video quality.

The rules of BTCC during that season stated that you could not change the valve angle in the head so TWR who built the Volvo skimmed the head at 30 degrees out of flat. This achieved preferable valve orientation in relation to the block and rotating assembly but did not breach the rules around the intake valve angle in the head. It was deemed to be within the rules and they ended up with c. 65 more HP than the rest of the cars on the grid.

The long-tailed version of a GTR is still a GTR.

Looks like a real race car compared to what today's cars look like !

I bought a '88 T-Bird Turbo Coupe instead of a Mustang GT in large part due to the NASCAR track performance of the body.

Same color as car in pic.

I totally understand, one of the best body styles Ford has ever made in my opinion.

That havoline Thunderbird was a slick looking car. Those 83-88 t birds in general were slick, but that havoline scheme was perfect for that car. Ernie irvan would run a throwback scheme in 96(?) using those colors, and it was just as good looking on a 96 tbird.
