Just cut a 2 liter soda bottle where it widens out and use the bottom half to catch and contain the filter. Cost of less than $1.00 if you purchased the soda on sale or an off brand soda!

I just use a gallon zip lock freezer bag.

Patience is a virtue and is lacking in todays society. Just loosen the filter and give it a minute or two to drain. And then remove it. I use this down time to inspect the underside of the car and whatnot.
