Lesson learned, I just need to say out of threads like these. If there's a c and p, awesome. I don't mind thanking the person for their time.

Anything else, be it good, logical advice as well as comparisons, I should just stay out. Someone somewhere becomes unhappy. Such is life.

Only if you can buy filters at about 1% of usual prices.

$6/10000 miles = $0.0006 $/mile = $0.06 cent per mile.

What's $4.50 at 7500 miles. Local Toyota store had a sale. Filter cost divided by OCI equals cost per mile.

$4.50 by 7500 miles equals .0006 cents a mile.

Your math says 10 miles is .60. You couldn't afford to run a car on your math!

But you don't buy a filter or two a day. But friends don't let friends drink Starbucks when you can make a good cup of coffee for what .25 or .35?

No, $4.50 by 7500 miles equals .0006 dollars a mile, which equals .06 cents a mile

450 cents by 7500 miles equals .06 cents a mile.

Necropost!

Over two years later what is everyone's thoughts on how far you can push a Wix/Napa Gold and Wix XP/Napa Platinum oil filter?

I feel like a normal Wix/Napa Gold should be able to go at least 10,000 miles and I would consider using one for maybe 12,000 miles I don't know if any Subaru folks would be willing to run one for two 6000 mile OCIs.

I also feel like the WIX XP/Napa Platinum can probably go just as long and maybe even slightly longer than a Fram Ultra. Two or more consecutive OCIs like mentioned above.
