Got the line off the caliper okay but the bolt is being held to the hose fitting by what appears to be too small of a copper washer. I've stopped the leak by doubling the inside washer for now. Am I screwed and need to replace the brake hose now?

Can't you grab the washer with pointy locking pliers and twist it back and forth until it breaks and comes out? Then remove the bolt and install a new crush washer.

If the threads are caught in the washer, grab the outside edge of the washer with pliers and unscrew the bolt out. Never double-washer. And not so tight next time.

I didn't make it tight. The double washer is a stop-gap for the time being...I'll try gripping the washer edge and unscrewing but my Hopes aren't high
