At mine, they had them marked down from $54 to $20. I thought long and hard, but ended up walking away. I already have enough in my stash to last years and prefer SOPUS products.

Was just in my Walmart last night had them setting on a pallet display still 54.99, I don't really get the point at that pricepoint it's pretty much the same per unit as buying 5qt jugs but more inconvenient.

Can't find it on brickseeker or Walmart.com, makes me wonder if this is some sort of test product, maybe they seen that the warren boxes didn't sell well and decided to see if a top tier brand would sell better and when it inevitably fails because most people don't want to buy 3 gallons of oil at a time they'll can the whole idea.

If it was a 6 quart I would be all over it, especially in 0W40.

How does it pour out? Bag or jug inside? I can't see a spigot on the top nor a box-o-wine-like one on the side or bottom.

Look at the first pic - next to the stacked tires. Expand it.

Only way this would come home with me would be if they offered a deal, same price as the 5s makes no sense.

Theres a spot of the cardboard that tears out and there is a spigot that pulls out

I'd buy Callahan autoparts if I could.

Sustainability, or at least being able to claim it, is huge with retailers. Vendors that can offer products that check this box are going to the front of the line so to speak. You see end cap displays in this case. I have no problem with it, however my vehicles that would take 0W-40 for example require 7 & 8 qts. each per oil change so in this case I'd possibly need 2 boxes on hand. (Spare me the mathematical possibilities please)

Same here. The problem is returning used oil. I like the 5 quart jugs. Everyone seems to use those. Plus I like to just drop off at the local Autozone or Advance Auto which also sells the jugs but not the boxes. It's a deal if you can find them for $20. I'm just waiting til April 1st to see if Mobil does their rebate.
