Mods i didn't know where to put to topic.
Been looking into graphite based paint like ez slide to use on the underside of a mower deck does this stuff work is it a gimmick? I sometimes have problems with grass wanting to cake under the deck even with it dry. Just looking for suggestions.

I expect that a chain lube like Dupont Chain Saver will work. It is clear in color and does not create a mess.

My yard machines push mower seems to have a tendency for grass to stick to the underside. A gatorblade definitely reduced this but not completely. I sprayed the underside with gunk brand I think it helps quite a bit.

I have tried a lot of things, and none worked. I tried a graphite paint to no avail. I tried various paints and bedliner. Nothing holds up. Now if you are mowing a very small area and coat it often, maybe, but is it worth the effort. I mow a fair area and nothing holds up. Granted i have a lot of small sticks, leaves, and sweet gum balls.
