I had a 4.5 lb. pork loin in my freezer that needed to be grilled/smoked, or cooked, some kind of way. So, I started marinating it Sunday, and it's on the smoker today. I'm using pecan wood for the smoke.

Looks good!
May I suggest a pork shoulder for your next smokeoff?
I think that you might find this a more flavorful cut for this treatment.
In other news, these were among the few cuts on offer that survived the tsunami of hoard buying we saw last weekend.
