Yes. Nuway sandwich.

Resembles a 'crumbly burger' I'd heard of and turned out to be loose hamburg meat instead of pressed patty in my earlier days of life and work in MI.
I Don't know if it was regular cooked/grilled or streamed though.

All things equal though and if it tastes the same, I prefer the less mess and fuss of a pressed patty. This mostly due to my recall of many years on the road and fast food. Food = gravity = clothes.
Some how or 'nother I could actually miss my mouth when eating.

Never heard of it. Is it a restaurant chain?
Never mind.....I saw it in another thread.

Maid-Rite is coming back to our town after a complete renovation of the 200-year old building.

Maid-Rite, Sloppy Joe, Nu-Way, similar sandwiches of ground and loose hamburger flavored with onions and other spices.

Best with a Tart Pickle.

I grew up in Memphis. My mom made these, and called it a "Hamburger BBQ". It was loose ground beef, but mixed with a sauce, maybe a tomato-based, tangy sauce, similar to BBQ sauce.
