Congrats!

Give us some more details and post up some pics!

EDIT: I see you did not go with a 5.7 in the end, after all that back and forth.

your pocket is local, look in there and you'll see a phone. mail order my dude. everything is local with international next-day air-freight.

A friend's son had a Challenger.....a paid for 2016 with a V6 I'm pretty sure.

After offering to help him change his oil he took it to a nearby dealership.

He came home later that day with a left-over 2018 Dodge Challenger RT Hellcat.

This $78,000 crate was "marked down" to $59,000. Then they "gave" him $9,000 trade-in.

He now has 7 years of payments on a $50,000 loan. He's 50 and lives with his mother and 14 year old son.

He has a job through June of this year. He and the Hellcat commute 40 miles daily to Garbageville.

Watching a family sink is sickening. When, with his chest out, he asked me what he thought of the car I said, "I wouldn't've bought it. How are you going to pay for it?"

Oh, as is so emblematic of egotists, he added, "{Son} will get it when he learns to drive."

So Jarlaxle, are you as foolish as he is?

A 2013 Challenger SRT8 should only be around $20-$24K, depending on condition and mileage.

Just another member of the BITOG holier than thou/sour grapes/hair shirt brigade.
If they have to drive anodyne appliances in automotive purgatory then they believe that you should have to do so as well.

Maybe even a little lower since I think he was looking at some high milers with around 140k or so but in great condition.

I can give examples of people I know who make poor financial choices too.

Do we know that this was a poor financial choice for the OP?

Is it any of our business?

I came very close to picking up a Challenger SRT a few years ago. It's an outstanding car and a lot of fun.

It is none of our business.
But I definitely have an opinion about it.

It IS none of our business, which was my point.

I have an opinion too: Congrats OP, hopefully you get some enjoyment from it.

Its got a hot 2 speed slushbox - but also a trick switch pitch converter - hi/low stall speed.

May go to 60 mph in under 7 seconds with a hot 208deg crower replacement cam
