We're closing on a house in Port Charlotte FL that will be a getaway for long weekends, etc. I was going to drive one of our cars down, but the seller of the house also had a car she wanted to sell. I am the proud owner of a 2003 Saturn L-200 sedan, silver with gray cloth, alloy wheels, cold a/c, no sunroof, 4 cylinder ecotec/automatic, 109k miles. I paid the princely sum of $750 for it. If this car travels more than 1000 miles a yea under my care I'll be amazed. Nice cheap set of wheels...will be garaged when we aren't down there too, so the sun shouldn't hurt it too much.

The s-series drink oil. The early ecotecs blow timing chains. On this one, there's a tensioner that's accessible on the (outside) back of the engine that's easily changed to a better one.
