What are people using now for outdoor antennas?

I'm not sure if the OP has a clustered TV station antenna farm … but since I did it was simple to use a small Lava directional … clear picture from 70 miles to my camp … and great for FM radio.
(made my own for AM radio)

My old antenna is on a 1 inch round aluminum pole that is 8 feet high that I cut from work scrap. Just gonna remove the old antenna & replace with a new one on that pole.

Thanks, Dale

I have been using one of these for about 5 years. It works excellent.

No VHF low signals were tested. The lowest station in the test was RF channel 7.
I don’t know if Denny’s Stacker is optimized for that band specifically, but VHF High 7-13 is covered. I bet VHF low would work way better on the stacker than those smaller uhf only antennas. You can’t defy physics.

I finally got around to adding a second antenna to my attic setup. Have a yagi style up there, worked great. Had to pick and choose channels due to the directional nature of the beast. Found at antenna at the local Goodwill. The kind that sort of looks like an oven rack. Minor fiddling around and picked up another six channels. Awesomeness. So two different style antenna feeding a splitter to a cheapo booster split again and feed two of the cable runs into the house.

It may be similar to the RCA antenna. It could be made by Winegard which is likely who Denny uses for his stacker. His designs look good and sounds like he knows his stuff
It is similar, but it is not the same thing as the RCA ones. Especially the ones made recently. I have no complaints at all on his antennas.

No replacement for displacement applies with antennas too. You can google the ones listed below;

Anyway, have this one installed in my attic RCA Model #ANT3036X
and
This one installed in my sons attic https://www.channelmaster.com/Digital_HDTV_Outdoor_TV_Antenna_p/cm-2018.htm
Im pretty sure its the 60 possibly the 100.

Here is another good site - http://dennysantennaservice.com
I like the idea of the "stacker" at Dennys. At the same time out broadcast towers are only around 30 ish miles away and why I got the 60 mile.
If your more then 30 miles (straight line) go for a 100 mile.

No replacement for displacement and trouble free reception.

Ugh ... I responded to an old thread that I already responded too many times, well, I will leave this post anyway.
