Will probably cut open the PF64 after it's done draining.

Out: PP 5w30 and Fram TG filter. Change done at 5,500 miles. This was my winter oil with lots of idling for cold day warmup and short trips. IOLM was saying that it had 20% life left.

In: Shell RGT 5w30 and Napa Gold filter. I picked this up on sale for $22CAD per 5L jug. Regular price on this us in the $65 range. I'll run this all summer where we typically do longer trips pulling our little boler for camping, then hunting season, getting firewood etc.

Do you know the Zinc PPM? Is it over 1,000 PPM?

Owners Manual calls for 5w30. I've had these five quarts of 0w20 Napa Synthetic in my basement for five years. They were tucked away under the basement steps and inside a KMart bag, going unnoticed and gathering dust. So lets experiment using oil that's 3 cst@100 lower than what I formerly used (0w40).
