Crestron 16 channel amp

The website suggests you can bridge 8 channels.

Bridge all channels on all three amps, and use them to bi-amp the entire front stage of a home theater.

I like that idea! However, it notes you need a "bridging interface" https://www.crestron.com/en-US/Products/Inactive/Discontinued/A-M/CNXBRMO to do it, which seems a bit silly but...

Ah, I see that now, that would give me 4 channels at 220W. My Polk RTi A9 speakers can be bi-amped. They still use the built in crossover, so I can hook it up without "low level" high and low pass filters. So I could do the 2 front speakers with one amp. That might be enough to power those speakers. From what I've heard, they really need a 500W amp.

I'm not sure how the bridging interface works, but I'm guessing it's some form of isolation. I could probably cobble up something that would work.
