Yeah, that's a good price. Is it free shipping for just one $7 bottle or do we need to spend >$35?

Would this be a good "conditioner" even if you're not having issues? Trying to baby the 05 Odyssey tranny to get as much life out of her as possible.

If you have prime, the 32 oz bottle for $19.46 comes out cheaper. I am assuming it is the same stuff in a different package size. You would have the added inconvenience of needing to measure out a dose.

1) I learned about LubeGard (red) here.
2) I added the recommended dose (1 oz. per system quart) to my transmission.
3) The improvement was immediate and real. In other words, NOT INSIGNIFICANT and completely worth it.
I'm NO believer in "mechanics in a can". This stuff is a lube and maybe it has seal conditioners.

To jayjr105: Because the stuff is claimed to be a lubricant which is beneficial to the servos AND that it worked so well in my past and current Volvo, I use it as a "conditioner" as you say.

I'm not a transmission expert but I do believe those "pre-2007" Honda units need all the help they can get.
I'd get the fluid as clean as I could before adding the stuff.

In my case the transmission began hiccoughing during the original owner's time. It's why he elected to sell the car.
He had the unit flushed at the Volvo dealer so I got a car with 70K and crystal clear red fluid.
A TCM reload eased the low speed clunking.
The LubeGard easily halved the remaining occasional "low speed indecision".
Freeing up the engagement and disengagement of the lower gears so well is why I believe in the product.

A family member has a 2016 Mazda3. It's at <30 K and shifting perfectly.
When it reaches 60K I will do a drain and fill with the pale blue Mazda FZ fluid.
Whether or not I add the LubeGard to that unit remains to be determined.

LG is in my Ranger 5R55E and a 2010 Honda Accord I maintain for a neighbor.

I have "father and son" Ford truck owners as friends.
Their '97 F-150 and '05 Explorer have cleaner fluid due to my prompting them to do pan drops and filter changes.
I decided not to preach the LG Gospel to them because I have only so much air in my lungs.

I dump and fill 3 quarts religiously. Just did one last weekend. Fluid is clean and filter was just changed too. Shifting is still great but I have noticed some harder downshifting at times.

I have been putting in a bottle with every fluid change since I have been out of warranty. When under warranty I used the ridiculously expensive Kia/Hyundai SP3. So for the last nearly 70k miles I've been using ML and bottle of LG Red. It's one of the few products that has been specd by OE mfgs..

$7 shipping included, is a good price..

Email Lubegard..they are very good at responding to emails, sometimes in the same day. There's also a conversion chart on their website you can check out.

Think this should only be used in automatic transmissions? I use GM Manual Transmission and Transfer Case Fluid in my manual GTO. It cannot use Dex VI, and I see that this is synthetic like Dex VI

Not here but my Kia 5sp doesn't seem to mind it. I would do as I suggested the other guy do and either call or email LG. Like I said, they're pretty responsive from past times I've had questions about their products. Them, Gold Eagle and Bars/Rislone..all U.S. based companies with good, fast tech support in my dealings with them over the years.

Thanks, I bought the 32 oz version for my two cars. is it OK to mix it with Redline D6 ATF? Will this stuff keep in storage for 2 to 3 years? I am due for trans oil change then.
