Interestingly enough there are people who are occasionally clueless and pay more. I know a person who buys and sells iPhones above normal certified condition on Craigslist. He makes about $100-$125 a phone and sells about 6-8/month. They simply don't use google or have credit cards maybe to buy from reputable online sellers. He takes only cash.

I sold my TV from about 2006 - 52" Toshiba DLP for $50. I listed it and was shocked at the amount of interest...was gone same day.
Yeah if I put something on facebook marketplace that I think would never sell, someone from Mexico contacts me and comes to buy it.
Several old LCD monitors, old laptops, even a used CPAP machine, all from Mexico, all paid cash and no issues.
We are about 90 minutes from the border.
