From reading this site HyperLube should help with wear where temperatures haven't activated the ZDDP yet. Plus these engines fuel dilute the oil and I'm hoping it helps, I'll run a UOA on the next change to see how it's doing. I'm curious as well so I figured it couldn't hurt.

Truck is definitely using oil. Definitely no external leaks but it was over 2 quarts low
Pic shows used oil in the containers I used to fill it. Just over 2 quarts low
