Got tipped off by my O'reillys manager buddy thumbsup

He said "Code 99" is for clearance items

5 qt jugs are $19.99 and single qts are $5 each not a crazy good deal compared to WM and TSC oil bonanza , but will drop more through out time and should overlap soon coming Mobil Spring rebate program !!!

Online prices do NOT reflect "In store" price. You have to bring up to counter and the "Clearance" price will reflect on POS register

This is for Mobil Super Synthetic NOT 5000

Following "Flavors"

0W20
5W20
5W30
10W30

Product that was rejected to wear the Mobil-1 label. I prefer Quaker State Ultimate or Castrol Magnatec for the same price. But if it ever gets down to Supertech Syn pricing, then interest here should rise considerably.

First time in a year that I walked into an O'Reilly's, Advance Auto or Autozone - which have Dorman crush washers 25 for $6.99, for my two Hyunkia's. They are thinner than OEM and aluminum instead of copper. Don't need to torque these down as much when tightening. I can see EZ or Fumoto Valves being purchased soon.

I hate putting so much torque tension on my oil pans every 4-5k oci. That's not going to fly with me.

Ya MS not everyone's cup of brew and $20 is not a DOOR BUSTER price, But it's something to keep eye on for more price drops and once Mobil spring rebate kicks in soon itll be pretty good deal

GM, Ford and Chrysler come with o-ring plugs. You can most likely find one with the same thread pitch as your Kia.

You can strip your drain plug threads at a future oil change date. Go right ahead. I have no qualms about that.

Dave

Korean Drain Plug and Korean oil pans that bust their threads from over-torque are tons different from what walks the street in the middle of a dark Detroit night-time.
I'm shocked you can't fathom the difference. Wait - I'm not shocked after-all.

Pennzoil conventional is also on clearance.

Our store is already out of Mobil Super quarts in 0-20, 5-20, and 5-30. And out of PYB quarts in 5-20 and 5-30. In terms of 5qt jugs we're already sold out of MS 0-20.

No more stock is coming so the likelihood this stuff is going to be on clearance long enough to be a truly good deal is low. Compared to the regular price of $7.49, $4.98 isn't bad, but you can do better. Currently the 5qt jugs of MS/PYB clearance price is $22.99 in our area.

I pulled all the PYB SAE 40 from the back and put it on the clearance rack. Currently it's still $4.98 but it's not going to be a hot seller so you can expect that to end up at $2 or so eventually.

So far the Edge HM is NOT on clearance. I was hoping we were going to adopt the Edge "all mileage" and I could get some good deals on that because while MS and PYB aren't my cup of tea, Edge HM would be great for both my vehicles and most of friends/family that I service. Although stock on that is currently low so perhaps we are discontinuing it. Then again it's in sale at $29 so we sold a lot. Today is oil day so when I get to work we'll see if we got some cases of Edge HM.

I saw that the other day at O'Reilly's, they also had all Castrol Magnatec syn on "sale" for $21 instead of the usual $30+ they charge for it.

Mobil super was on a total blowout at AAP a few months ago. Syn and HM jugs of every viscosity were $2-3.XX. I wouldn't have went out of my way to buy it if it wasn't 60 cents a quart.
