Looks like a well made, but wavy, filter
I think that Wix makes good quality filters

Looks like it did its job. My buddy used to have an 01 2.0 golf that he delivered in, we ran the big 1.8t filter, Mahle OC51, fit with no issues. Adds a half quart too. Not sure if theres room on the newer chassis.

I might look into this. There's more then plenty of space under this one. My 17 not so much.

Looks like it survived intact... It looks ok. Long filters like that can be a touch wavy at times... It's major please distortion and spaces between pleats that are the ominous precursor to holes happening.
