Hormel Black Label is what wally carries. What ever Papa Murphy's use is really good on their pizza.

Duffyjr: my senior citizen/military veteran friend has that Hormel bacon. It is very good

Pan fry or microwave works well for me.

I never had it until finding it on a menu in a restaurant in Houston. Technically it looks and tastes like fried ham to me. Still excellent.

Sorry, cured pork loin is not bacon.

The fact you need to use a qualifier clearly points out that it's not bacon. Bacon needs no introduction. It stands on it's own.

Interestedly my dad an immigrant who grew up with religion against it but non practicing convinced himself that bacon was not pork

after my mum cooked it around that time.

I love bacon especially on burgers, in PEI mussels with wine reduction and the the sandwich I have yet to see anyone screw up BLT.

So why not tell us why you quit eating pork.

Religious reasons. PM me for the details.

Pork is a rather disgusting meat actually. It is like eating Bear meat or Dog meat. I consider ita rather dirty meat. Bacon or sausage makes the pork edible.

i had cheerios for dinner last night, followed by a trail mix my wife puts together for me, almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, and a raisin mix

I agree, it looks and tastes just like ham. Why is it called Canadian bacon?

Why is a hamburger called that when it has no ham?
Why is a sandwich called that when it has no sand?

Love bacon! Smithfield brand has what they call Butcher's Cut. It makes thick cut look skimpy. 8 slices of bacon in a one pound package! That hit my cast iron skillet right after this.
