Thinking about buying a tool kit to get started, wondering how expensive to go, brands, glues ect. looks pretty straight forward if your patient...I'm rural now so I have to DIY or drive 100mi. for a dent Dr.

Will practice on the '95 T-100 camp truck, if I can get decent at the small dings maybe I can help friends and family with this.

I bought this kit.

Dent removal kit.

I pulled 4 dings out of the Caprice, 2 out of the truck, 3 out of the Malibu.
Then did about 8 different ones on the neighbors 2 cars.

Works awesome! Really easy.

Ya see those all over, looks like it's enough to get the small dings from doors or garage mishaps which is all I'm really looking to tackle.

Don't expect to get the dent out 100%.

even when you pay $80 they'll mention not 100% was curious why they include both a squeeze extractor and a screw type? and some even a slide hammer I can understand that for rounded surfaces.

I wish I had taken before and after pictures. Over half the ones I pulled were completely removed.

From the description of the product you linked. Thought it was pretty funny:

Wow. I only read the reviews. I wonder who wrote that one.

I bought this thing called a Stud Lever and a Snap On version of a "lifter'". A few suction cups, a glue gun... I can get some dents out. Takes practice. Years ago, some dodo caved in the door on my Suburban. I worked on it and got it pretty good. I took it to a PDR guy to see if he could finish it. He said he wouldn't be able to do any better because the dent that was left had a reinforcement rib attached to the back side and it would require body and paint to be finished.

My buddy puts on a BMW car show. He invites a PDR guy and a photographer with a boom truck.

thing is these e.bay/amazon kits with 50-75 pcs. look like toys, must be more mid range quality out there...I'm sure the pros don't go for these...see many bars and pry type wires to get at the back if the dent...hoping to find a nice basic pro-grade kit.
