An offroad Crown Vic! My redneck side likes it.

Spotted in a Walmart parking lot of course.

No, they're a bit of a joke around here really. Gotta give the owner props, it's obviously been off pavement which is more than can be said for 90% of the SUVs and 4x4 trucks around here and for 1/10 the price.

It even has an EcoBoost AWD badge on the trunk lid.

they are like mustangs in you can get in over your head on a merely wet road.

"I stepped on the gas and did a 180 into a ditch in the rain."

my 1994 thunderbird was abysmal as well.. but quite fun with the added supercharger on the 4.6

Whahhh? I found mine very controllable in low traction environments. I had a 93 p71. Not my idea of a great car, but it beat walking.

Just replace the transmission every 60k miles or so proactively and they're not too bad, lol!

Strange, we've got a 96' Crown Vic with the original transmission and engine with 350,000 miles. We're retiring the car this summer due to extreme rust on the car/frame.

I'm NOT a "Furd guy", but I do love me some "Vic"

Just a small peek at my vics from the past. Silver one is my current 09 SAP same day I won her at Auction

Nice!

I wouldn't mind finding a black one. The one we have is gold colored with lots of rust.

And horrible interior/dash design. No leg room at all for the size. My 90 Bonneville has twice the leg room up front.

Wow! Legit amazed.

A friend of mine had a Roadmaster with the 350 LT-1 engine. For a 5,000# car it would sure get up and go. My 2000 Mustang GT has basically the same drivetrain as the Vic except for the PI heads. I have 128,000 miles on it now and expect to get at least 250K miles before I get rid of it. It's my daily transportation and gets give or take 20 mpg.
