Shell Rimula 15w-40

Found this 15w-40 as well as straight 30w at the Advance store here in town for $2.50 a gallon. They are no longer stocking it. I have not heard of Rimula, Rotella yea but not this one. Is it just an old verson of Rotella? Worth using? They had 8 gallons of it. Oh they also had 6 bottles of STP diesel fuel treatment for 50 cents a bottle.

When Shell and Texaco split, Shell kept the formula for Texaco oils. The Rimula is basically the same as the old Texaco URSA Super Plus. It's a good oil. I would have no problem using it.

Great! Thanks, I think I will go by and get 4 more gallons. Then I should be set on oil changes for a while.
