Post your latest oil change

2019 VW Passat Wolfsburg 2.0TSi

Out: Dealer- Castrol Edge Professional LL 0W-20
Out: Dealer- VW (Mann)
Distance traveled- 5,000 miles

In: VW High Performance Genuine Engine Oil 0W-20
In: VW (Mann)
Current miles- 9,200 miles

1998 Honda Accord LX 4 banger, 109K, 5,300 OCI
Out: Valvoline Syn HM 5w30, Wix filter
In: Kirkland Syn 5w30, Fram UG3593A

Also serviced trans and plugs.
Runs like new.

I used Shell rotella gas truck 5w20 with a little bit of Lucas high mileage oil stabilizer. Used a premium guard extended performance filter. Runs pretty smooth in my 2010 jeep commander.

2008 Jeep Wrangler 3.8, 138k miles on the odo and running like new.

Out: Valvoline Modern Engine 5w20 with about 6100 miles on it.
In: 5 quarts Rotella Gas Truck 5w20, 1 quart 0w20. (I bought it on AZ clearance and they had no singles left in 5w20.)

Filter: The XG3614 that was installed with the Valvoline is going another round.

Note: 6k oil changes are due to Jeep lifetime warranty requirements. Otherwise I'd run it 10k. It drinks oil, so by 6k much of it is new, anyway, Lol! I'll be adding RTG 5w30 as it drinks, because that's the rest of what I found on clearance. Besides, it'll be warming up as Spring comes, so transitioning to a summer weight is good anyway, even if gradual.

2007 Volvo V70 @ 102K. 7,700 on oil

OUT: Formula Shell 5W-30 conv.

IN: 5 qt. Car Quest Full Synth. 5W-30, 1 qt. Spectrol 5W-40 synth.

FILTER: STP S8712 emergency purchase as both Denso filters I had came with the wrong O-ring.

Never thought checking the O-ring's size before doing an oil change was necessary until now.

I'm just glad the AutoZone near me had a filter which fit....at 4;30PM...on a Saturday.

Changed the oil on my new to me 2016 Ford Edge with 2.0 Ecoboost

Dealer changed the oil on it but when I checked the dipstick it was black and smelled like gas.

I decided to change the oil right away with a good oil and flush the system as I don't know the maintenance history. I'll probably run this oil for a few weeks and change it again just for piece of mind (and I have a big stash of oil and filters)

Mileage 64,755

Out: unknown (dealer fill) motorcraft fl910s

In: 6 quarts Pennzoil ultra platinum 5w30 Motorcraft Fl910s

2015 Camry

98000 miles

Out Valvoline syn 0w20 @ 8000 miles, Fram ultra at 18000 miles.

In Valvoline syn 0w20, fram ultra.

Also did the plugs and coolant.

Had a lot of trouble getting the stupid canister off. Using ramps from now on.

2010 Camry I4 with 206K and unknown OCI. Last OC was done at the Walmart where my granddaughter works. The oil filter housing is not the same one that was on the car the last time I changed the oil. The internals of this housing were screwed up. I had to replace the housing.

Out: whatever Walmart used
In: M1 HM 5W30 and ST9972

On a second note, she had been having hesitations when driving. She did not want to bother me so she took it to a mechanic. The mechanic said he found about a dozen codes and needed a lot of work. He even furnished her with a hand written list of the codes. A week later I checked for codes and found none. And 2 weeks later still no codes. I told her to never go back to that mechanic. I tried a couple of things and was finally able to fix the hesitations by cleaning the throttle body.

Why the added Zinc supplement with your 2019 Subaru Turbo?
