I do not watch the Game, I guess I just do not want to support the commercialism. I would just rather do something productive. Anyone else here choose to opt-out? I am not bashing people that watch the game, so please dont think that I am. When I lived in California this was the perfect time to drive the Freeways traffic free!

Another thought, after 911 why would you place yourself in such a vulnerable situation, that is if you actually bought tickets and attended.

I'm with my family who's watching it, but I'm not really paying any attention to it at all. I'm trying to get my oldest son, who just discovered light sabers, to smack my brother with it

I don't watch; most of the time I get to the playoffs without even knowing who is in there.

If I had an opportunity to go without having to pay 8 weeks pay, i would go....

Call me names but I have zero interest in any organized sports. Doing my normal Sunday night activities, surfing the webs, getting ready for work tomorrow, etc.

My thoughts exactly. I have no interest in it whatsoever.

I used to watch it. I used to like watching football. But, not anymore. Likewise with NASCAR. I do watch some college games.

Last year was the first Super Bowl that I've watched. Mostly because I got curious about all the hoopla over the ads. But I'm not watching this year. Last year was enough to last another decade. The ads really weren't good enough to make it worth watching the entire game.

Socially I do however for the game no. Tonight I opted out.

The ads sort of lost their luster when YouTube the incrieble medium to play them cane around.

Same here!

For overpaid "professional" sports that is.

It's unpopular for a dude, but I've gotten by so far.

If everyone is doing it, it can't be right. Its like everyone driving off a bridge. Something sinister about the Half-Time show, mental rape, you wont be able to take back what you see. Having that many people focused on one event, that is an amazing example of social engineering. The Roman Empire did the same thing to keep the masses from rebelling.
