I think you need to get what works for you. I loved my Saturn. Knees not hitting anything. I have a tall torso and short legs. Many vehicles I cannot see all of the speedometer or head is in the headliner. I preferred driving it over a cramped RX300 in the garage. Owning a Elantra for 3 years I have a lot of appreciation for Hyundai. I also know they can be hit and miss on some things. Hope you bought a hit!

I loved my MkIV Jetta but at least once a year I would whack my shin on the dashboard while getting out. Haven't had a car since (or before) where I did that. I don't miss that feature but sometimes I wonder if it wasn't a safety thing, since your legs fly forward in a crash, and having the dash closer might mean less speed before the leg has to stop.
