ACDelco PF-48 for 2015 Dodge 5.7L?

Will a PF-48 work properly on a 2015 Dodge Challenger R-T 5.7L 22B 6-speed Tremec?

I have researched this question here at BITOG, and at several other websites and haven't found a definitive answer. Apparently it will physically fit on the motor, but does it flow properly for this motor?

I have a few PF-48 filters and would like to be able to use them.

Rockauto lists a Champ PF48 for your 2015 Dodge Challenger 5.7.

Welcome to the forum! I honestly am not sure if it will fit or not, my quick google search came up 'maybe' just like yours. You've got yourself a very nice car, imo I wouldn't risk it just to use some cheap oil filters I happened to have on hand.

ACDelco list the PF1250F as the correct filter for the 5.7 in your Challenger, and the PF48E as the correct filter for my Ram 1500 with the hemi.. I know they went to the smaller filters on the Ram when they went to electric power steering, the ones with hydraulic steering spec'd the same filter as your Challenger.
