Autozone

STP Five Gallon 85w140 gear oil, $20.

90 plus dollars at many retailers.

Bought one, guess hoarder mentality. I tow a lot with a 2002 and 2006 F350, but I know synthetic recommended for gear oil if towing.

Whats wrong with the STP brand? It's made by Warren and is the same as ST.

Is it possible to use 5 gallons of this if you don't run a shop?
A great price on something you don't need is not a bargain.

How long will it take you to go through this stuff?

Not sure how or where I will use it. I have a 2002 F350 4x4, and a 2006 F350 RWD. If, and that is a if, this is a good fit, I imagine both vehicles would need 1-2 gallons total.Maybe I will find other uses. At $20, worth the risk. My garage is full of unused deals. But when they work, they often work real well. Time will tell.

If you use it for cutting wood, you'll just end up smelling like a rear end by the end of the day....

I'll pass as B+C oil

A buddy of mine bought me a bucket and a pump...took me about 10 years to use it all, but so nice to just hook the filler tube in the fill hole and pump it fill

Ignore the haters, it's a good deal and useful. Add a basic hand pump that inserts in the lid for extra awesome points

^^^^This^^^^. I've been working off the same 5 gallon bucket of gear oil for years (with hand pump) and just having it, even better with the easy to fill a diff pump, is great. $20?! Great deal!
