Turned up at work Friday, and saw this...recognized the numberplate immediately, guy I've worked with for 29 years.. Advantage of a good job, and supportive wife, eh ?

I'm surprised America doesn't get those. I think they would sell.

Nice badge on the Nissan. But they do look good, and apparently the quality is there too.

Everybody loves the "roo bars" y'all have down there.

If it was my vehicle I'd have 'em too BUT I'd extend them out as far as I could.

How does the Honda Ridgeline competes against the utes? Granted, down under it'd have to have a diesel and it would have competition--but otherwise, it's a light(er) duty truck based on a car platform.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm think the reason we don't get utes is because they don't sell, and haven't sold in the past either (VW's little truck, Rampage, Brat, Baja, probably something else too). Gas is cheap and so are full sized trucks.

A chrome 'roo bar? Rich. And the LED light bar craze has made it there too?

Still a neat ute and what's the difference between that and a crew cab midsize with the little bed??

The 4 door ute has replaced the family sedan in Oz...it was the demise of the Commodore and Falcon.

It's been my go to model for 17 years...albeit Nissan and Holden.
