I'm trying to remove the pump just enough so I can install the proper sized barbed fitting for the hose I need. I had limited space and figured since the bottom nut was larger it should have kept the studs from turning. What a mess. Now the very back nut is coming off like it should I wish all three would have just come loose. Would have been easier to get back on. Opinions?

I hope all the unessary spinning on the threads didn't mess them up. I used to be so good at this kind of stuff. It's embarrassing.

Looks like one out of three is one piece. Nut and stud in all. Is that aid with installation?

Picture?

Maybe someone cross-threaded the nut. All three are the same and should come off. Then you need clearance to move the pump down to remove it. If the studs come out of the pump instead it is the same way-- need clearance to move down.

Could put it back and find hose that fits what you have instead.
