I want to add an auxiliary filter kit per Ford TSB-00-23-10 with p/n XC3Z-7B155-G (used to be XC3Z-7B155-AA). Does anyone have the instructions that come with this kit? The replacement filter p/n is XC3Z-7B155-G which replaces XC3Z-7B155-BA.

Thank you.

Curious... is this a super-tight filter media set-up operated as a bypass filter? Does it pull a minute bit of flow off the line to the cooler and bypass it back to the line from the cooler?

It's just a Magnafine or Filtran inline filter.

No, it is full flow.

Doing a search for " transmission filter magnefine " will get all kinds of info for you

Thx. What I really prefer, though, is a bypass filter set-up. The filter media is super-tight, and believe it or not, in no time flat ALL of the transmission fluid gets filtered down to really, really low micron values. The in-line filtlers have to be fairly coarse media, because if they plug off, then you can lose bearings and lube-points that the cooler flow is ultimately directed-to... let alone lose your cooling, too.

Cheers.
