Any good ideas on how to assure that the keyway is sealed on a non keyed LSx crank?
My plan is to put a gob of right stuff in the keyway prior to installing and then a light layer on the outter shoulder of the new bolt.
Any thoughts?

No way that gob will last past the first start-up...

Don't they make a balancer for a non-key way crank?

Negative.
That is the function of the orange sealant on the GMPPbolt shoulder face.

Not arguing just asking to see if there is a better way than what we have been doing

This is a new GMPP bolt showing their attempt at sealing. Although it's rare these can leak if you don't address this area. stock balancers don't have the key cut but rarely even stock can leak.
