Pulled this off of my 11 Sonata 2.4 GDI over the weekend, has 4200 miles on Castrol Edge 5w40. Replaced it with Edge 0w40 and a Hastings LF565. Filter seems solidly built, media isn't brittle and has no tears. Got it fron my local NAPA as I wanted to dissect it after use. Worst thing about them is that there is nada for information on these filters out there, and their website, provided you can find it, is useless, so unsure of micron rating. Even asked our shop's NAPA rep, and he couldn't find anything either.

Bought it through our shop, so less than 6 bucks.

Looks like it got the job done for 4200 mi. I would add, I'm not enamored with the pleat spacing uniformity. It's poor. In my observation the Hyun/Kia OEM and Premium Guard equivalent post use anecdotes look much better. And though afaik no post use anecdote of the new S Korea Wix/Napa Gold 5/1334 or Proselect 21334 posted yet, I'd speculate them similar to oem.

Thanks for c&p.

The spacing is excellent. Every 8-th pleat is shorter then the others to allow more median in the same volume. That is why some plats look a bit wider. Cutting the filter through the media would help to see this.

While pleat spacing might appear excellent to some, not to me. As noted I prefer the others mentioned, cutting media will make zero difference in that thought. So, pleat spacing uniformity poor imo.

Lol sure. Stock photo, cutter is at work. Truthfully wouldnt buy this design again though, small filters don't contact both rollers opposite the blade, so they cut a little hard, but it still works.
