2007 Acura TSX, 136K, 5K OCI, 15% Maintenance Minder
Out: 5 qt QS Syn, Fram 7317 UG (2nd OCI, 11K miles)

In: 5qt Valvoline HM Syn 5w30, Fram 7317 UG
Warshed and waxed the TSX
Gonna do a brake pad slap and flush brake fluid.

I am finding the Fram UG to be very difficult to remove. TSX filter is in rear and hard to get to. Messy!
I can usually remove filters by hand. Might go back to M1...

2016 Toyota Sienna LE FWD 3.5 2GR-FE, 104,400 miles

About 4400 miles on oil & filter, time unknown.

OUT: unknown (though I suspect NAPA oil and filter as the small mom & pop dealership we purchased from in August '19 had NAPA Advertising all over in their repair bay.)

IN: Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 6.5 quarts +/-
Mobil 1 M1C-251A filter

I plan on running it 1 full year (Nov '19 - Nov '20) which will be 10,000+ miles and then send it out for analysis. This is my first time using M1EP so we'll see how it performs.
The engine is super quiet with M1EP 0W-20. It must like this "Flavor" LOL.

Someone put 100k on this engine in three years. So odds are, the oil wasn't changed often. How bad did the oil look at 4.4K? Can you see down the oil cap?

This new EP will clean the engine better than NAPA. You should 'at least' monitor the looks & smell of the dipstick oil during the summer. This first run of EP (on an unknown engine) may need to be changed earlier than 10K. Glad that you mentioned using a good quality trap filter.

How do you know M1 EP will clean better than NAPA oil?

3.5Q is low for a change. Are you just sucking a bit out and replacing it a bit at a time?

This is funny!
You have 5k in service time here for the past 9+ years and you ask a question like it's your first week here.
I suppose you don't know which brand-name oil is in the NAPA jug either.

Keep reading stuff here. Keep reading about oils outside this website also. Things will eventually become clearer for retention purposes.

Ah, so you have no evidence or data for your claim and instead you resort to passive aggressive comments. This is funny, your slip is showing, all the way down to your ankles

3.5 quarts of Liquimoly AND 3 quarts of Rotella Gas Truck. Approximately 6.7 quarts total.
