Do cats like potato chips?

Black cat loved "sesame sticks" from the bulk food aisle. He loved anything my sister baked....the butter I suppose.

Same cat gnawed and poked (with his toenails) a bag of apples we left out.

Same cat carefully separated a pie box from a chair piled high with coats and pots 'n pans,
He cut the Scotch tape with his nail with surgical precision then DIDN'T touch the remaining shoe-fly pie inside.

NOTE: Shoe fly pie is empty calorie subsistence food SOME of our forefathers ate. It's just molasses and starch....a horrid confection.
Kitty had taste.

Perhaps the oil in the potato chips attracted him as well as the salt.

The other cat eats flowers. We can't have 'em in the house.

My wife's Grandmother had a cat that loved corn on the cob. Her cat would entertain the entire family at Sunday dinners by holding the ear of corn with her claws while gnawing the corn off the cob.

Cats like salt. Given a chance, they nibble on chips and popcorn. Mine also likes cheese. Once, he made off with a slice of Gouda in his mouth that he had nicked while I wasn't watching him.
