That's really interesting because I entered a 2018 ZL1 in the same Mobil 1 oil selector and it spit out 5w-30.
And I just double-checked it again.
I wonder what changed between the '18 and '19 specifications?

If Mobil has treated you this well now is not a good time to change.

Most people stopped doing that when owners manuals reached 200 pages. And that was over 10 years ago.
