There is also a G64 green coolant which is the new Volvo coolant, and looks to be the same or very similar to G65 minus the dye added. It is mentioned that it is the "climate successor" of G48 and that it is compatible with flux-brazed aluminium heat exchangers.

Can't find a SDS for G65 so can't say if they changed the amount of Glycerin that was in VW G13, although it is odd they went back in their naming convention and didn't name the new coolant G13+ or G14.
Yes it would appear to have the same inhibitor package as G64.
And yes it's odd they didn't name it G13+ or G14
