This would be a good deal even if you only used it for one project. If you change the grease it would likely last a few years if you're a DIYer for occasional use.

It took 40 cutting blades........... but I dismantled & cut apart an entire VW Bus with it.
Still wants to do more.

These are great to have on hand for garage use. Beats having to swap disks back and forth. I have a cutting blade on one, flap disk on another, and grinding wheel on a 3rd. The 3rd one doesn't see much use.

~I fix stuff.

High potential for injury tool. Especially with conventional abrasive disks, might be worth the extra coin for a tool less guard, stall mitigation, etc. I personally think a paddle switch is safer but others might disagree with me. If use that grinder a lot the switch will wear out and it will shut off all the time, that's the other problem with side switch grinders.

I'd rather not skimp out on a 4.5 grinder, once you have used a high power model (10-13 amps) you won't want to go back.

That takes the fun out it. But, if you're spending $50 anyway, not bad. I hope this kind of coupon isn't going to be a trend.

I keep thinking about this grinder(when they're coupon'd @ $9.99) but, I have the Chicago Electric version($17) just sitting around now that I've only used a hand full of times ever.

$5? That's a great price!

I have a cheap one. The screw-on handle broke where handle was glued to bolt.

All these cheap grinders produce a lot of vibration. If you're just a hobbyist and only use it a few times per year, probably not a problem provided you don't already have hand, forearm or nerve injuries.

Once you've used a quality grinder, you'll understand the difference. Harbor Freight is also really good at spec'ing cords that flex about as well as THHN and short - anything to save a few pennies.

Companies hoping the consumer won't notice a sh***y cord is a pet-peeve of mine.

But again, for the suburban garage Bob Vila weekend warrior it'll work
