It looks like Costco has gotten into the private label motor oil business. The bottles look identical to AmazonBasics, so I wonder if it is from the same supplier.

$3/quart for a Dexos approved synthetic with no rebates, etc. is a pretty good every day deal.

The $30 is the shipped price. As Y_K said its cheaper in store and that is cheaper than Supertech is right now.

Good price for a good oil, esp if you have it locally and can pickup.

yup

I checked it out when I was in Costco last week. Label said manufacturer was Warren. No surprise.

Even if it's $30 out the door for 10qts, that still not a bad deal for a Dexos licensed lube... and you didn't have to run around town hitting up all the local AZ's or dealing with rebates! 😉

Warrens cornering the PLP market it seems... Wally's, Amazon and now Costco. Those are some pretty big retailers.

Same here in PA near Philadelphia. $24 something which makes it a couple bucks cheaper per jug than ST. However my warehouse only had 5w30

Costco often has better prices if you come pick a heavy item up in the warehouse instead of paying the cost to ship it to a home.

Entirely rational business decision which is unlike other companies.

I guess Costco isn't willing to loose money on selling something.
