Starter replacement and getting old

Hey toneydoc,

Glad to see you post, we have a little more in common. I will be 65 on 12-14-2019 and feel blessed that I still can do most of my repairs and maintenance. Through the years I have often thought if I can remove an impacted wisdom tooth, or complete root canal therapy I should be able to do this car task. I have been humbled on numerous occasions. I may be slightly slower but find a desire to complete tasks. I seem to be lucky as I do not experience the soreness, etc. after an involved repair. I actually experience a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment after completing and learning a new task. Last March I had to replace my Taurus starter on the driveway, There was snow and ice on the ground as well as ice and snow dripping off the roof while I was under the car. I am grateful of the lack of soreness after my repairs and maintenance. I may be a little slower at getting up after being under the car, but not by much.

Scott
