Wow, what a great memory. We used to sing a variation of this back in Grade 5 in Saskatchewan. Here was the Prairie version of long ago:

Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile
broke a wheel
Commissioner broke a leg

I wonder if the kids still sing this?

Weird. In the US, the last line is, "And Joker ran away." And the kids do still sing it, my 6 year old was just singing it the other day after school, haha.
