That would be a good question for Valvoline.

In any case the product seems to be on its way out. For about $10 less per jug you can get the Valvoline Advanced which is SN+ and d1G2.

Yeah, like someone else above said, the only reason I bought a bunch of it is that I got it at 2 bucks a quart on the Autozone clearance.
