Can you wax a new exhaust system to keep it looking new?

It will burn off. Buying/using a QUALITY system is more important than any weird maintenance hacks. I've had Berk and a friend of mine has whatever the expensive WRX exhaust was with the long wait times, nothing did as well as stock in both cases.

For that particular model years you're very right. Most driving those are umm how do I say this.....ethically, and morally challenged, and usually have a wrap sheet a mile long!

Oh yeah a real hive of scum and villainy.

I use CQ Dlux. It helps minimize carbon deposits and makes cleaning a lot easier.
